The Online Pre-Launch
Soultera is opening its online store with limited pearl designs on the 5th of June, 2025 at 6pm GMT+1 ! The pre-launch of the online store is to serve as an early access for the girlies that have been following Soultera from the very beginning. It is a learning opportunity for me to understand the market and how to strategise better. To put it simply, Soultera is at its seeding stage and there is a lot of trial and error but I want the product, the sSory and the brand to be as authentic as possible so we’re the pre-launch to test the waters.
But why pearls?
I am testing the waters with pearls because I have loved pearls since I was six years old when I saw my mom haggle prices with the ladies selling pearls on the beaches of Boracay, Philippines, and thanks to her, I am joining this industry of Filipina entrepreneurs. Pearls are a big part of the culture, its almost expected for all Filipinos to have pearl jewellery because it is so common to find in the islands. In a way, this new venture helps me reconnect with my roots but also share and blend a part of my Filipino culture with my Irish identity.
So, what can the people and readers expect from my e-commerce brand, Soultera?
Well, I want to share my deep appreciation for this organic gemstone and bring curated freshwater pearl jewellery to the Irish waters which are not only modern but also affordable. Through this, I hope to find a community (fingers crossed you’re one of them) of like-minded individual who share an interest in wellness, travel, fashion and all things good for their soul.
That said, pearls are fascinating gems and learning how and where they are cultivated, researching designs, suppliers, and the overall pearl industry has been an exciting learning curve for me and, I cannot wait to share more of this with readers on my blog
On a deeper level..
I have been thinking long and hard about what my soul is to me, but I struggle to articulate in words because the concept is better represented in abstract form.
For me, a soul is a delicate orb that radiates and carries the essence of our being, just like a pearl, with flaws on its surface, it will always have its lustre, its glow. As I continue to uncover what my soul holds for me, I find that pearls are a great reminder to keep me grounded, continue in my inner spiritual work, and be grateful for all the opportunities life has presented me during my soul-searching journey.
I’m excited for this new beginning, and I hope reading this gave you a better sense of what I am trying to grow and cultivate with my brand, Soultera.
